Solar PV & batteries
Solar PV plant monitoring and maintenance
Your plant earns money every sunny hour. We monitor it remotely, respond to deviations and maintain the equipment so production stays close to design levels for years.
Production that isn’t lost unnoticed
A tripped breaker, a faulty string or dirty panels can cut production for days or weeks before anyone notices. For commercial and industrial plants these are real losses. That is why monitoring and maintenance matter as much as a good build.
We look after plants we have built as well as existing plants after an initial inspection. We set up monitoring at inverter and plant level, agree a preventive maintenance schedule and stay on call for faults. For home systems, see solar PV and batteries.
We work with rooftop plants on warehouses, production and commercial buildings, as well as ground-mounted plants. Every contract starts with a clear scope: what we monitor, how often we visit the site, how quickly we respond to faults and which reports you receive. So you know what you pay for and what you get.
Remote monitoring
Production, availability and inverter alarms in one place.
Fault response
Diagnosis and repair to get production back online.
Preventive maintenance
Scheduled checks of panels, mounting, cables, boards and inverters.
Reports
Regular reports on production, events and the work carried out.

What maintenance includes
We set the scope according to plant size, the type of installation – rooftop or ground-mounted – and the owner’s requirements. This is what it usually includes.
Production monitoring
We connect inverters and meters to a monitoring platform and set alerts for production drops, inverter shutdowns or lost communication. We compare actual production with what the weather conditions should deliver.
Preventive maintenance
Inspection of panels and mounting structures, checks of cables, connectors and torque, review of boards and protection devices, and inverter and cooling checks. Every visit is documented.
Diagnostics and repair
When an alarm comes in we find the cause – string, connector, protection device or inverter – and fix it. For warranty cases we deal with the manufacturer on your behalf.
Panel cleaning
Dust, pollen and dirt from nearby roads and farmland reduce output. We recommend a cleaning schedule based on the plant’s location and panel tilt.
Batteries and expansion
Monitoring data shows how much energy is exported at low prices. Where it makes economic sense, we propose battery storage or a plant extension.
Reports and documentation
You receive regular reports on production, availability, alarms and work carried out – useful for the owner, the accountants and the bank if the plant is financed.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Yes. We start with an inspection of the plant and its documentation, check the monitoring and the condition of the equipment, and then propose a maintenance plan.
Usually at least once a year, and more often for larger plants or dusty locations. We set the schedule based on plant size, location and the manufacturers’ requirements.
Most modern inverters have their own monitoring platform. We check communication and, where needed, add meters and communication modules.
Monitoring sends an alert, we check the cause remotely and, if needed, send a team to the site. Response times are agreed in the maintenance contract.
Yes. Preventive maintenance covers the AC side too – boards, protection devices, cables and the connection to the building installation, because faults are often there rather than in the panels.
Yes. For home systems monitoring is part of every installation – you see production, consumption and battery status in the app.
